Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

Planning, coordination, Monitoring, Implementation, Execution & Supervision of policy decision of the Govt. / STA with reference to the Motor Vehicle Act 1989 & C.M.V. 1981, Odisha Motor Vehicle Rules 1997, Odisha Motor Vehicle Taxation Act/Rule 1975 and other guidlines in respect of Transport Admn.
2. Mission/ Vision:
Collection of M.V. Tax/ revenue as per the target fixed by Govt. and smooth functioning of the Transport Admn. in the District.
3. Organization Charts:
This Organization is under the direct supervision of State Transport Authority, Odisha, Cuttack.
4. Details of Service rendered:
This Organization provides basic services for plying of vehicles (Transport/ Non Transport) with reference to payment of M.V. Revenue to the Govt. issues Licenses to drive the vehicles, permits to Stage/ Goods Carriages Vehicles.
The information requires for general public regarding possession & plying of a vehicle with reference to payment of tax/ procedure etc has been shown on the notice board.
