Introduction

   This Tahasil started functioning w.e.f. 10.12.1982 vide Govt. of Odisha, Revenue & Excise Department Notification No. 75282 dated. 30.11.82 after bifurcation from Attabira Tahasil. This Tahasil comes under the Revenue Administration jurisdiction of Bargarh Sub-division & bargarh District. The geographical area of this Tahasil is 145 Sq. mile.

1) Aims and objectives of the Organization:

Tahasil Office, Bheden

2) Function:

Revenue Administration within the jurisdiction of Tahasil and Record of Rights maintained in respect of 96 villages. Attending emergent in natural calamities, Law & order and Election, Collection of revenue etc.

3) Brief History and Back ground for its Establishment:

Bheden Tahasil started functioning in the year 10/12/1982

4) Allocation of Business:

This Tahasil provides Revenue administration to general public, Collection of Land Revenue.

5) Duties to be performed:

Trial & disposal of different Revenue cases such as Lease, encroachment, mutation, O.L.R.O.E.A. and maintenance of R.O.R. under O.S.S. Act., Computerization of Land Record, Be- Bandobasta Cases, Bhudan cases, 19 (1) c, 8A cases, Demarcation, Alienation of Govt. Land, O.P.D.R., disposal of cases U/S 107, 109, 144, 145 146 of C.R.P.C. & other duties as and when deligated/ authorized by Collector from time to time.

Grievance cell of this office is being functioning every Monday (Except holiday) from 10.30 A.M. to 1.30P.M.in the office room of the Tahasildar.
