1. Aims & Objectives of the Organization:
Sri Jayadev College of Education & Technology, Naharkanta owes its origin al a tribute to the great soul of Sri Jayadev, a famous world over, for his Sanskrit Magnum Opus 'Geeta Govindam'. The college is a sublime spark of the noble dreams and efforts of a group of elites with the sole objective of imparting integral value-based education to the rural masses.
a) Imparting value oriented integral education.
b) Nourishing mental faculties of the students.
c) Boosting the fitness level of the students.
d)Accomplishing the moral, ethical and spiritual elements of the students.
2. History & Background of Its Establishment:
The college was establishment in the year 1980 at Naharkanta, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
3. Functions & Duties:
This institution's forty four eminent faculties and members have been striving hard to bring about all round development. Being to CHSE, Odisha and Utkal University, the college at present provides education Courses of Arts, Science and Commerce in +2 and +3 levels with provision of Honours Programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, History, Pol. science, Education English and Commerce. The key to success of our students is:-
a) Healthy and congenial atmosphere of the college.
b) Good relationship between the teacher and the taught.
c) The noble teaching concept of share and care.
d) Exposure of students to books.
e) Up-to-date athletic guidance.
4. Working Hours Both for Office & Public:
The Normal Working Hours of the Colleges is 10 A.M to 4 P.M.

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process
[Section-4 (1) (b) (iii)]
The Principal is the sole decision making authority in all aspects. He takes decision in various matters after discussion with different committees, as per government rules and regulations.

Norms for Discharge of Functions
[Section-4 (1) (b) (iv)]
As per record manual, any letter is first received by the Head Clerk and put up before Principal for specific marking. After return it is referred to relevant section for scrutiny and reply through the related file.
Any file is routed through proper channel, i.e to Head Clerk, to Officer-in-Charge of the section with a remark to the Principal for approval or sanction after which the same is dispatched being entered in issue register with number & date.
