Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

[Section-4 (1) (b) (i)]

1.Objective/purpose of the public authority:

District Skill Development-cum-Employment Office, Bargarh is being functioning currently in a rental building at Sriram Vihar, Ward No.08, behind bank of Baroda, Bargarh, Pin-768028, before that the office located near Collectorate road, Gandi Chowk, ward No.-Bargarh, Pin – as namely District Employment Exchange Bargarh. The works of the office is to register te names of the candidates, sponsoring the names of the candidates against Notification from different Organization, Vocational Guidance and collection of Employment Market Information. Now the online Registration/Renewal has been enacted to candidates since 15-10-2022 vide letter No. 4189 dated 01-10-2022 of the Directorate of Skill Development-cum-Employment Office, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Short term training is going on under placement linked training. Again under NUA Odisha short term placement training and special projects are done in district component for youths who are in search of training and jobs.

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

1.What is the Procedure followed to take a decision for various matters?

The procedure can be described both in narrative form and through flow process chart. In narrative form the stages through which a proposal passes the levels at which it get examined and the final authority to which it has to go for approval may be explained. The District Skill Development-cum-Employment Officer, Bargarh is the final decision making authority in respect of this office. The Deputy Director of Skill Development-cum-Employment (NZ) Sambalpur and the Director of Skill Development-cum-Employment, Odisha, Bhubaneswar are the appellate authority and supervision authority respectively.

  1. A fresh candidate can register his/her name selecting the Employment Exchange under whose jurisdiction he/she resides through ONLINE mode. For online registration & details procedure to follow they may access https://empmission.odisha.gov.in
  2. Candidates seeking training and career guidance may register/book an appointment through online( https://www.ncs.gov.in ) or may access model career centre, Bargarh on office hour i.e. 10Am. To 5.30Pm. Monday to Saturday except Govt. holidays.
  3. “Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme” is launched by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. This scheme aims to provide internship opportunities to one crore youth in top 500 companies in five years.
