1. Aims & Objectives of the Organization:

Tahasil office in involved to keep revenue records safely to collect land revenue and safeguard the property of the land lords & help the people in all kind of Govt. work. This Tahasil is a public oriented office and always open the hand to help the people in all kind of problems relative with revenue matters.

2. Mission / Vision:

Tahasil office is answerable with the jurisdiction regarding revenue matter.

3. History & Background of Its Establishment:

This Tahasil has been function since 15.04.2008 after bifurcation from Tahasil office, Jagatsinghpur vide notification no. DCR 11/08-14913 in Revenue and disaster management department Govt. of Odisha.

4. Address of the Office:

It is situated in block Raghunathpur under collectorate, Jagatsinghpur.

5. Working Hours Both for Office:

From April to June in every year:
Opening Hour: 7.00 AM
Closing Hour: 1.00 PM
No Lunch Break.
Apart from These months other regular working hours:
Opening Hour: 10.00 AM
Closing Hour: 5.30 PM
Lunch Break: 30 mins.

6. Main Activities/ Function:

This Tahasil has been function with 75 villages out of which 10 village under Jagatsinghpur Block and rest under Raghunathpur Block. According to instruction Revenue & Disaster Management dept. Govt. of Odisha, Bhubaneswar. Bill Budge, Establishment Revenue, Tauzi Emergency, Issuing diary, court matter, Report-return-compliance, R.T.I and Judicial.
