4) Allocation of Business:

The sole business of HHEP, Burla as well as of OHPC is generation and sale of energy to GRIDCO, the sole buyer. The generation of energy is dependent on availability of water, taking into consideration the water requirement for irrigation and drinking water supply.

5) Duties to be performed to achieve the mission:

The respective branches namely technical, finance and human resources are functioning under the directions of the Unit head, HHEP, Burla for achieving the mission.
