Objective/ Purpose of the Public Authority:

Urban Planning through preparation of Master Plan to undertake various Planning approach for development, Improvement and expansion of the town within the ambit of O.T.P. & I.T. Act, 1956.

Mission/ Vision Statement of the Public Authority:

To carry out the purpose of the Act.

Brief History of the Public Authority and Context of its Formation:

The Special Planning Authority came Into existence as per the Notification No. 32431/ HUD,dt. 14.08.1991.

Organisation Charges:

The Assistant Town Planner of Town Planning unit, Balangir has been declared as Special Planning Authority, Titilagarh in addition to his own duties.

Allocation of Business:

The official businesses are being carried out as per the provision Act.

Duties to be Performed to Achieve the Mission:

As entrusted to assigned by the O.T.P. & I.T. Act, 1956.

Details of Services Rendered:

1. Preparation of Master Plan & Implementation of Schemes.
2. To ensure development control as per the provision of zoning regulations.
3. Technical support to Revenue Authorities for conversion of land from agricultural purpose to non-agricultural purpose within the Master Plan area.
4. Technical advice   to different agencies with reference to provisions of Master Plan as and when required.

Citizens Interaction:

1. Citizens Interactions are regularly made.
2. Section 31(1)of the Act provides the scope  for citizen interaction during the preparation of Master Plan.
