5) Duties to be performed to achieve the mission:

     All the officers of the above sections work hard to achieve the goal/target fixed by the Govt. time to time.

6) Details of services rendered:

     Various sections as detailed in the item No 5 render their services in their respective fields for betterment of the social, economic, educational status of the rural poor. Various sections and the services rendered by them are given below.

i) Works:

     This section is managed by one AE, three JEs, two GPTAs and one NREGA Asst. All the developmental works like construction of C.C. roads, school buildings, Tanks, Market complex and cyclone shelters etc are being taken up by them with the proper guidance by the Govt. from time to time to create wage employment through MGNREGS, GGY, MP LAD, MLA LAD, Special Problem Funds, FFW, 13^th FC Grant. This section also deals in providing dwelling houses to rural poor living below poverty line through Mo Kudia & IAY (Normal, Special and Up gradation)

ii) G.P. Section:

     The post of GPEO is vacant for which WEO is in charge of the section. Due to decentralization of power G.Ps have been given more power and responsibilities to work out the plans and   objectives of the Govt. G.P.E.O is to see optimum utilization of the various grants (MGNREGS/ 13^th F.C. Grants) etc provided to the G.Ps. He also deal with elections of PRI members and Sarapanchs and prepare revision of electoral rolls.

iii) Poverty Alleviation:

     Various poverty alleviation programmes have been worked out for Upliftment of the socio-economic status of the rural poor living below poverty lines through the process of self employment scheme called Swarnajayanti Gramya Swarojagar Yojana (SGSY). The FEO is in charge of PA who is dealing with the scheme with the help of VLWs and Bankers on mobilizing the rural poor into self help group, their capacity building, skill up gradation, training, and assistance for taking up different economic activities, credit linkage, infrastructure, technology and marketing support as important element development strategies.

iv) Social securities:

     One officer designated as S.E.O. is appointed to ensure provision of social securities to the rural poor. Madhubabu Yojana, O.A.P/ O.D.P. and W.P. is given to the poorest of the poor people, destitute, and poor widows and physically and mentally handicapped people .S.E.O. is to see and ensure that poorest of the poor should come under this scheme. Again Annapurna and Antadoya scheme are functioning for the poorest of the poor .NFBS (National Family Benefit Scheme) is also provided to the poor family whose earning member is died.

v) Welfare Section:

     One WEO is appointed to provide benefits and social-securities to the SC/ST poor. He is dealing with Upliftment of  SC/ST poor families living below poverty line through the process of self employment by providing subsidized loan to indivisual poor and self help group (SC/ST) living below poverty line. He also deals with the stipend and pre-matric scholarship to the SC/ ST students.
