Submit Your Request for Information

This section helps a citizen to submit his/her request for information (RTI Application) online to his/her desired Public Information Officer (PIO). Before filling up the form please follow the instructions mentioned below. Once the form is submitted, an online RTI application number is provided with an online acknowledgement receipt which can be used in payment of application fee and further inquiry. Applicants are advised to take printout of the Online Acknowledgement Receipt and retain it for any communication required with the concerned PIO.

    Read the following instructions before filling up the form:

  • bull Fill in all the fields that are marked as required.
  • bull Please make your Identity Proof file ready before filling the Form.
  • bull File types allowed for upload need to be in JPG, JPEG and GIF format.
  • bull The maximum file size allowed for upload is 1MB.
  • bull Once the form is submitted, an unique complaint ID is provided which can be used in further inquiry.
  • bull Please note that, presently only the Departments are activated for online submission of RTI application.
  • bull After acceptance of the online application by the PIO, the citizen will receive an e-mail with e-payment link for deposit of application fee.
  • bull No application fee is required to deposit by the BPL applicants.
  • bull The payment of application fee by the RTI applicant can be made through other modes of deposit like; Cash, IPO, Treasury Challan, Bank Draft, MO etc. along with their computer generated online acknowledgment receipt.
  • bull After successful receipt of application fee by the PIO, the time-frame prescribed under the Act shall be applicable and in case of BPL applicant, after acceptance of the online application by the PIO, the time-frame prescribed under the Act shall be applicable.
  • bull PIOs and RTI Applicants are informed with auto e-mail and auto SMS through their e-mail IDs and mobile numbers.
