1. Aim and Objectives of the Organization: To save forest and improvement forests through various type of department work. 2. Mission/ Vision: To provide access, retention and improvement of forests. 3. Brief History and Background for its Establishment: This Division has been established during the year 1948 having three Sub-divisions namely Dhenkanal, Kamakshyanagar and Hindol of Dhenkanal District. 4. Allocation Business: Allocated by Forest Department. 5. Duties to be performed to achieve the Mission: Protection, planting, Restoration of degraded forests and up liftment of income of local people by way of I.G.A activities. 6. Details of Services Rendered: Intervention for development of forest infrastructure development of forest, to enlarge forest and to protect forest. 7.
