1. Name of the Organization: District Civil Supply Office, Khurda.
2. Brief History of the Organization:
After bifurcation of the districts this district started functioning w.e.f 1.4.93. This office was functioning in a rented building w.e.f 1.7.93 till 31.12.2000 at Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation. Then w.e.f 1.1.2000 this office is functioning in the Khurda Collectorate building. Sri Amar Mohapatra, Civil Supplies Officer, in-charge is the Head of this office.

4. Function & Duties:
This office basically deals with following activities:a) Re-Allotment & distribution of Essential Commodities to Blocks/ Municipality/ NACs allotted by Govt. in F.S. and C.W. Department.
