Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties
[Section-4 (1) (b) (i)]
Right to Information and Obligations of Public Authorities .— 4.( 1 ) ( a ):--- All records and related matters belonging to the office of Chief District Veterinary Officer, Mayurbhanj, Baripada are being maintained in this office with the employees working in this office on different assigned official works and the concerned files are available with them and they are responsible for providing subjected matter RTI information and other related information in addition to their assigned official day to day works. While any Indian Citizen submit the RTI Application to First Appellate Authority / PIO / APIO in order to seek the RTI Information from this office , then it is the duty of the First Appellate Authority /PIO / APIO of this office to forward it to the Concerned File Section I/C of this office which is called as referred PIO for providing the same subject wise RTI information belonging to him within stipulated period with the help of CDVO, Mayurbhanj, Baripada cum First Appellate Authority ( because it is a time bound programme of 30 days from the date of receipt of the RTI Application by the PIO / APIO of this office which includes all holidays within this period ). Therefore it is the duty of the Referred PIO to submit the RTI information on the subjected matter with his signature against the copy of RTI Application as supplied earlier to him either through the CDVO, Mayurbhanj, Baripada ( First Appellate Authority ) or directly to PIO / APIO of this office .If the Referred PIO fails to provide the said information within the stipulated time as given then he will fall responsible for not providing RTI Information which violates the RTI Act—2005 and this will bring to the Notice of the Honourable , Chief Information Commissioner, RTI Act, Bhubaneswar , Govt. of Odisha if required . When RTI Application is received by this office and the subject matter information relates to the other office then it will be transferred to the PIO of the concerned office under section 6 ( 3 ) by the PIO / APIO of this office. Similarly, all the Offices of the SDVOs will follow the Rules regarding provide the RTI information whenever applied directly to their Offices respectively. 4.(1 ) ( b ) :---Publish within one hundred and twenty days from the enactment of this Act----- i) The particulars of its organization , functions and duties:-- Office of the Chief District Veterinary Officer, Mayurbhanj, Baripada under ( Administration control of Fishery and Animal Resources Development Department , Govt. of Odisha .) Executive Authority is the Director, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Odisha, Cuttack. Postal Address :- Chief District Veterinary Officer, Mayurbhanj, Baripada, At / Po.—Baripada District – Mayurbhanj, Pin No.—757001. Information of Animal Husbandry and its allied, as technical part related with its administration confined to the District Mayurbhanj.
