1. Aims and Objectives of the Organization :
The office of the Chief District Veterinary Officer, Balasore is the main institution at District level on Animal Resources Development section. The objective of the organization is the implementation of different Animal Husbandry activities like Treatment, inoculation, artificial insemination, Fodder cultivation, encourage farmers to adopt different livestock and poultry farming to support their livelihood.2.Mission/ Vision :
The mission of this organization is to up lift the economic condition of the farmers through AH Activities & increase milk,meat & egg production, through treatment, awareness camp,skill up gradation training, infertility camp & by implementing different Govt. programmes related to the Veterinary Sector in Balasore District.
3. Brief History and Back ground for its Establishment :
The office started functioning from December'1952 for successful and well implementation of different programmes of Animal Husbandry activities as lunched by Govt. from time to time.
