Aim Objectives of the Organizations
Asst. Director of Fisheries-cum CEO,FFDA, Nayagarh.The objectives of the Organizations is to survey the pisciculture pond, to arrange lease of public / GP tanks, to provide quality seed to the farmers to impact training on modern technology for enhancing fish production and to provide subsidy to the fish.Mission / VissionTo be a leader in a state in certainble management and development of capture and culture fishers and in proving the livelihood, socio economic status, safety welfare of the fisheries through development and application of viable and sustainable , echo friendly strategy and programme.
Brief History and Background for its Establishment:
The fishery office in the district came into existence with effect from 09.8.1995. The district prior to 1992 was a one of the sub-division of Puri district.

The office of the Dist. Fishery office is headed by Asst. Director of Fisheries- cum CEO, FFDA, and Nayagarh. The office is equipped with One Head clerk, Two DSF, One FEO, One Steno, One Sr.clerk, One ICS and two fourth class employees.

Grievance Redress and Mechanism:
Grievance cell of this office is being functioning every Saturday (m except 2nd Saturday from 10.30 AM to 1.30 PN in the office room of A.D.F.
