1. Brief History and Background for its Establishment:

   The Dist Culture Officer, Sundargarh is functioning under the administrative control of the Collector, Sundargarh in a space spared by the district library at Sundargarh stadium since 1994. The District Culture Officer is looking to the various aspects relating to the cultural activities of the district as per the instructions and active guidance of the department of culture and district administration.

2. Aims and Objectives of the Organization:

Looks various aspects relating to the cultural activities of the District.

3. Details of Service Rendered:

   Organize the cultural functions as per the Department of Culture, Govt. of Odisha And District Administration, Sundargarh.

As and when required.

For Library: 11.00 AM to 6.00 PM, In Summer 7.00 AM to 1.00 PM (Every Monday & Third Tuesday closed)

For Office: 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM, In Summer 7.00 AM to 1.00 PM (As per the govt working day)
