1) Aims & Objectives of the Organization:
Construction and Maintenance of NHS in the State of Odisha.
2 ) Mission/ Vision:
The vision of NHS in the State of Odisha is to connect the District and Sub-division. Head quarters of the District through road communication.
3) Brief History & Background of its Establishment:
The Division was created during by 1971 the Government in Works Department for Construction & Maintenance of N.H. 42 from 29/3 to 185/0 Km (New N.H. 55 from 81.230 to 236.880 Km) & N.H. 200 from 301/893 to 372/162 Km (New N.H. 53 from 321/002 to 391.269 Km).
4) Allocation of Business:
The Executive Engineer is to look after all developmental & maintenance work of N.H. 42 & N.H. 200 relating to N.H. Division Dhenkanal. All the N.H. works are founded by the MOSRT&H, New Delhi.
5) Duties to be Performed to achieve the Mission:
The Executive Engineer is guiding the Technical & Non-Technical Staffs of N.H. Division, Dhenkanal.
6) Details of Services Rendered:
Tenders for the works are being called by the Executive Engineer within his power and the estimates are also sanctioned by the Executive Engineer within his power i.e. upto 50 lakhs as per the present Codal provision.
7) Citizens' Interaction:
The suggestions of local representative and general public are duly honored by the Executive Engineer.
