1. Aims and Objectives of the Organizations:The R&B Division, Baripada is functioning as a territorial division under R&B Wing of Works Deptt. Govt. of Odisha. The division is functioning under eastern Circle, R&B Balasore under Chief Engineer, R&B,Bhubanewswar Odisha, It has 4 (four) sub-divisions viz.(l) Baripada Sub-Division(2) Udala Sub-Division(3) Betnoti Sub-Division, and the last one Baripada sub division -II the division is headed by the Executive Engineer and the above sub-divisions are headed by an Asst. Executive Engineer and Asst. Engineers respectively.2. Function and Duties:
Mayurbhanj (R&B) Division, Baripada maintains total 521.25 KM of roads, out of which udala sub division deals with 134.1km of roads and Betnoti sub division deals with the maintains of total al73.6 KM length of roads.

The Division takes up the work like Improvement to existing carriage way, Periodical renewal, repair of buildings construction of new building, Special Repair, Flood Damage Repair, Maintenance of national highway roads and bridges coming under the jurisdiction of this division. It also undertakes construction, maintenance and repair of both residential and non-residential buildings including 5 Nos. of Inspection Bungalows coming under the Jurisdiction of the division. It also takes up deposit works of various developments as and when entrusted to it.
