1) Brief History about Organization and its function:
The project has been started functioning since 1996-97. It consist of 21 Gps with 172 Revenue Village. The geographical area of the Block is 29304 Hectors. As per the 2001 census the total population is 1,09,914. Now 207 AWCs are functioning under ICDS project, Begunia. The AWCs has been divided with 05 sectors.
Duties:
To render service to the children with in the age group on 0 to 6 years, Pregnant mothers and Nursing mothers with in the project area.
2) Location of Office with Address:
The ICDS Project, Begunia is located on the right side of Khurda, Nayagarh Road 20 Kms distance from Khurda. Project Office- At/ Po- Begunia, Dist- Khurda, Pin Code- 752062.
