Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1) Objective/ Purpose of the Public Authority:

     ICDS project is the main unit of womens & Child departmentally organization. The aims & objectives of the project is to reduce the infant mortality, Rate, mother mortality rate & School dropout. In addition to this project also look after the physically, Psychologically, Socially health states of weaker section of the society i.e, with collaboration of variour department like health, education, Panchayatraj, Sanitation.

2) Mission/ Vision statement of Public Authority:

     The mission of project is to help the weaker sections i.e, Pregnant mothers, Nursing mothers, O-6y-Children, Adolescent girls, Disable persons for improvement of their health status show the actual social picture of society in the block area.

      The Vision of the project is to reduce the IMR towards 15% & M.M.R. 50% as well as help to the children & mother in the time of need for their health hazards give assistance through bank to SHG members for strengthening their economical development in block area, Create awareness through SHG, mother meeting, IEC activities in the villages in hamlet area for the better futures & built a healthy mother for health society.      

3) Brief History of the Public Authority: 

     This ICDS Project started functionary from 9.5.01

4) Duties of the Public Authority:

     To create awareness through IEC, NIED for proper health care, Physically, Psychologically & socially improvements of the children at the girl's roll land, Reduce the malnation of children, Addoles also.

5) Main activities/ Functions of the Public Authority:

a) To kept the house hold & Population survey records up to date.
b) To kept the Birth & Death survey records up to date.
c) To kept the immunization survey records up to date.
d) To kept the Referral survey records up to date.
e) To kept the Preschool survey records up to date.
f) To kept the Nutrition status of children survey report up to date.
g) To kept the Disable sanitation survey report up to date.
h) To kept the pregnant & nursery mothers survey report up to date.
i) To kept the Initial delay & home ladies up to date mothers meeting.

To monitoring & suppress the action of AWWS, ASHA in G.K. mantis.

6) List of services being provided by Public Authority with a brief write up:

a) Supplementary nutrition to pregnant mothers, Nursery mothers, 6m-6y children.
b) Immunization
c) Regular weightment
d) Regular Health Checkup
e) Regular Referral Sermius
f) Preschool acted
g) NHED
h) Formation of SHG & linkage to SHG
