Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1) Objective/ Purpose of the Public Authority: Preparation and checking of different structural designs under Lower Indra Irrigation Project, Khariar in Nuapada & Bolangir districts. 2) Mission/ Vision Statement of Public Authority: For achieving the higher target as per the norms and stipulation fixed by Govt. of Odisha. 3) Brief History of the Public Authority and context of its formation: The office of the Executive Engineer, Lower Indra Disigns Division No-1, Khariar was created by way of redeployment vide Department of Water Resources letter No. 17512 dated 10.5.2001 with headquarters at Nuapada. 4) Duties of the Public Authority: To prepare Designs & Drawings of various structures as per requirement of different Divisions under this Projects. 5) Main activities/ Functions of the Public Authority: Timely completion of Designs work as per requirement of higher authorities. 6) List of services being provided by the Public Authority with a brief write-up on them: Preparation & submission of Designs & Drawings of various structures such as VRBS, Different CD works, Canal Falls, Canal Outlets etc. 7) Expectation of the Public Authority from the Public for enhancing its effectiveness and efficiency: For achieving the higher target as per the norms and stipulation fixed by Govt. of Odisha. 8) Mechanism available for monitoring the service delivery and Public Grievance Resolution: Investigation is being carried out on receipt of grievances from the affected peoples. 3) Brief History of the Public Authority and context of its formation:
The office of the Executive Engineer, Lower Indra Disigns Division No-1, Khariar was created by way of redeployment vide Department of Water Resources letter No. 17512 dated 10.5.2001 with headquarters at Nuapada.
4) Duties of the Public Authority:
To prepare Designs & Drawings of various structures as per requirement of different Divisions under this Projects.

Timely completion of Designs work as per requirement of higher authorities.

Preparation & submission of Designs & Drawings of various structures such as VRBS, Different CD works, Canal Falls, Canal Outlets etc.
