1. Aims and Objectives of the Organization:
The Office of the Asst. Director of Textiles, Balasore having its HQ at Balasore is functioning in its own building at Gudipada, Sovarampur, Balasore since 1981 and under the Control of Textile & Handloom Deptt. Govt. of Odisha. The administrative jurisdiction extens to both Balasore & Bhadrak district and its main duty and functions are to look after the Handloom development activities of both the districts and implement different Govt. sponsored Handloom developmental activities for the benefit of the weavers.
