1. Aims & Objectives of the Organization:

     To promote Sports & games in the District & improvement various schemes of Government.

2. Mission/ Vision:

     To improve the performance of sports Person & establish the district as one of the leading sports in the state.

3. Duties to be performed to achieve the mission:

     To keep close liaison with Panchayat and Block functionaries/ educational institution/ Sports clib/ NGO etc. & involve them in a programme/ activities.

4. Brief History & Background for its establishment:

     With a view to broad base Sports activities, the district level post of DSO was ordered in the year 1993 & since the office has been functioning as an integral part of district administration.

5. Office Hours:

Opening time- 10.00 A.M
Closing Time time-5.00 P.M.
