1. Aim & Objectives of the Orgarnization:

     Organization of sports competitions and youth festivals, Development of play fields in all Blocks and grampanchayats.

2. Mission/ Vision:

Improvement of Sports.

3. Brief History and back grounds of its establishment:

     This office is functions as a selection of collector, Bargarh since creation of new district. The establishment of this selection as hereunder.

i) Collector
ii) Additional Dist. Magistrate
iii) District sports officer
iv) Peon on daily wage basis.

4. Details of service rendered:

Improvement of sports and development of play fields.

     When public are coming with any doubt pertaining to sports and play field development the same are being clarified to them by the District sports officer.

9. Grievance Redress Mechanism:

Immediate steps are being taken to dispose of the grievance petitions.
