Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1. Aim & Objective of the Organization:

    To look into different Sports & Youth Services activities of the District & organize different Sport & Youth Services activities. Main Aim is to develop Sports & Youth Services activities in the District of Koraput.

2. Mission & Vision:

    To Correct awareness among the people of Koraput towards Sports & Youth Services activities to develop different Sports infrastructures.

3. Brief History & background for its Establishment:

    District Sports Office was functioning as a separate section 1985 prior to that all the matters relating to Sports were dealt in the (Gen. & Misc.) Section of the Collectorate.

4. Organization Chart:

    This section organize different Sports events like Rural Sports, Women Sports. Talent Scouting for admission in to the Sports Hostel. Youth Festival, Sports Day etc. to guide different Sports Organizations for different Organizations of different Sporting & Youth Services events. To work for creation of different Sports infrastructures.

5. Allocation of Business:

Main business of this Section is to deal with Sports & Youth Services activities.

6. Duties to be performed to Achieve the mission:

    By way Organization of different Sports &Youth Services activities & by creating awareness among the people the mission own be achieves.

7. Details of Services Rendered:

The Services rendered by this office is purely Public Service.

8. Citizen Interaction:

    Sports is a Subject which relates with public directly. Any citizen can give suggestion & get detail information regarding different activities performs by this Officer.
