1. History/ Background:

Anandapur Anchalik Training College, Fakirpur was established in the year 1980 as a Private B.Ed.Training College in Keonjhar district. The college is ideally located at the North side of the river Baitarani at a distance of 6 Kms from Anandapur/ Ghasipura main Bus Stand towards East. The management of the college was taken over by the Government of Odisha and the college got the status of a Government Teachers Training College from 04.11.1992. The college is affiliated to North Odisha University, Baripada with student intake capacity of 50 (fifty).

2. Aims and Objectives:

The main objective of this institution is to provide teaching in Bachelor's Degree in Education to the Pre-service Secondary School Teachers. Other objectives are:

i) To provide Academic Guidance to Secondary School Teachers;
ii) To Monitor and Supervise Academic Activities of the Adopted Secondary Schools;
iii) To Develop Quality Education.

3. Mission and Vision:

i) Academic Upliftment of the Secondary School Teachers;
ii) Planning for the Expansion of Educational Facilities;
iii) Improvement of the Status for Achieving Excellence;
iv) Creation of Favourable Learning Environment;
v) Motivation of Secondary School Teachers in Condusive Positive Direction.
