1. Aims and objectives of the Organization:
Overall in charge of primary education run by Govt. of Odisha in Bhawanipatna Education District comprising of seven blocks, one NAC and one Municipal area.
2. Mission & Vision:
To monitor, Supervise, Inspection of school run by Govt. of Odisha with a view to increase standard of education, check dropouts, increase the enrollment of students of 6-14 age group.
3. Brief History and background for its establishment:
This office is setup during the year 1952 with the aims and objectives as narrated above.
4. Allocation of business:
All the schools in a block are distribution proportionately to each S.I. of Schools which constitutes the S.I. of school Circle and the concerned S.I. of Schools is responsible for overall functioning of schools in his circle. He is also responsible for preparation of bills and for payment of salary of teacher working under his jurisdiction.
5. Duties to be performed to achieve the mission:
Duties are being performed by the responsible sub-inspector of school and other official to achieve the mission "STATE AS FACILITATOR".
6. Details of service rendered:
Services to the General public are being rendered through the responsible teachers, S.I. of Schools and other official of this organization within the guideline of Govt. of Odisha as for as practicable.

Citizens interactions are being attended promptly.

9. Working hours both for Office & Public:
Office functions between 10AM to 5PM with a lunch break between 1:30 PM to 2 PM in every working days & from 7 AM to 1 PM during morning office in summer. However officer and employee are available to dispose of the day's assignment up to an extended hour as per requirement.
10. Public Interaction if any:
Public is cordially accepted at every place to extend the desired assistance in view of introduction of Right to Information Act, 2005.
11. Grievance redress mechanism:
A grievances cell unit is functioning in this office on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday between 11 AM to 3 PM and grievance petition of the general public as well as the teachers are being disposed off promptly.
