1. Brief History & Background of its Organization:
Rural Works Division-II, Dhenkanal, Kamakhyanagar under Rural Development Department, Government of Odisha has been created from 01.07.2008. It looks after the repair maintenance, Improvement, construction of Rural Roads, bridges, bridges and Cultverts under R.D. Department in rural areas. It takes construction and repair works of Government. Building situated in rural areas and borne in the book of rural Development organisation as per availability of funds.
2. Mission/ Vision:
To improve, construct, repair and restoration of these roads, buildings, bridges and culverts, this division receives funds from different sources i.e., State Plan, Non-Plan, NABARD, MPLAD/ MLALAD/ Deposit/ PMGSY & ADB Assisted PMGSY. According to the availability of the funds in a year the works are taken up accordingly on priority basis to give benefit to the Rural Public.
