Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1. Aims and objectives of the Organization:
a) Development Section:
Deals with Developmental Works.
b) Emergency Section:
i) To render Relief to the distressed people at the time of natural calamities and disaster.ii) Functioning control Room.iii) To deal with the emergency matters.iv) To deal with the Red cross matters of the district.
c) Establishment Section:
To provide required number of staffs to District Office as well as to it's Sub-ordinate offices for smooth management of the office work of the District Administration. To dispose off the cases regarding pension matters with priority. To clear up the personal entitlements of the employees in time as per rules.
d) General & Misc. Section:
To dispose of Grievances of public and other Miscellaneous works.
e) Judicial Section:
Deals with all Judicial matters under the control of District Magistrate and Collector, Deogarh.
f) Land Acquisition Section:
Deals with Land Acquisition matters.
g) Nizarat Section:
Financial transation relating to salaries of Officers and staff of Collectorate, Deogarh. Government grants like relief , ex-gratia, CMRF are received. Misc. receipts are received from different quarters. Maintenance of Office building and staff quarter are looked after. Accountability of stock and stores, Library, Forms and Stationery are maintained in this section.
2. Mission/ Vision:
Development works of the entire Dist. Deogarh.
i) Emergency matter like flood, cyclone, earthquake, tornado, fire accidents, hail storm, lightening, thunder squall, volcanic eruption, heavy rain etc. and different type of disaster and calamities.ii) Relief, rescue and evacuation..iii) Gratuitous relief.iv) Assistance to cultivators.
