1. Brief History of the Public Authority:
The Right to Information Act, 2005 enacted by an act of parliament aim to ensuring transparency in examination and credibility and legitimacy of Govt. The act entitles a Civil citizen of India to get the information on administration of the Cuttack District on Revenue, Establishment, Compensation Touzi, Loan Touzi, Judicial, General & Misc., Record Room, Emergency, Nizarat, Land Acquisition, Forest Settlement, Election, Sports, Culture, Small Savings, Social Welfare, Panchayat, Planning, Welfare, Civil Supplies, Dist. Excise, Dl&PRO, Development, Audit & Inspection, Spl. Certificate Court, DSWO, DWO, National Informatics Centre and Notice Superintendent from the concerned section of Collectorate, Cuttack u/s 4(i)(a), (b) & (c) of said act.
All current records and files are maintained in concerned section with regular maintenance of case records. The consigned records are available in District Record Room.
