1. Brief History of the Public Authority and Context of its Formation:
The consolidation circle, Aska started functioning w.e.f. 13.12.1972 to take up consolidation scheme. But on 08.10.1986 some village were merged with Bhanjanagar Circle and some with circle office, Berhampur started function with rest villages w.e.f 08.10.1986. Now this circle is functioning at Brahmapur settlement. Building 2nd floor of Ganjam District with 22 villages, Consolidation Officer is the Head of the office. As per Govt. Notification No. DRC 7/ 08-16568 R&D.M. dtd. 09.04.2008 the post of consolidation officer is abolished and re-designated as Addl. Sub-Collector Sub-Division wise.

3. Working Hours of the Office:
10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in every working day 1.30 to 2.00 P.M. is lunch break.
