1. Brief History of the Public Authority & Context of its Formation:
There are two Consolidation Circles under Balangir Range namely Binka and Dunguripali started functioning w.e.f 1.09.1979 to take up consolidation scheme in respect of 212 villages in the Ayacut of Hirakud command Area Spreading over an area of 58348 Hecters.Concequent on abolition of Dunguripali Circle the area coming under that circle were merged with Binka circle and this circle and this circle has been renamed as Binka Dunguripali circle with effect from 1.11.88. Now this circle is functioning at District Headquarters at Sonepur w.e.f. 3.02.1992.
Subsequently on issue of notification u/ s. 3(1) of the O.C.H & P.F.L. Act, 1972.22 villages covering an area of 6220 Hects. of Dunguripali P.S. coming under Ayacut of Ong (Irrigation Project have been tagged to this circle as per notification No.27654/R dt.20.06.91 of Govt.in Revenue Deptt.).Thereafter consequent on reorganization of circle and camps the entire 47 village spreading over 8960 Hects. Of Bausuni P.S. of Boudh district which were withdrawn from Boudh Circle have been tagged to this circle w.e.f. 1.10.1992 and thereafter a village of Boudh P.S were tagged to this circle w.e.f. 1.06.1995.Thus consolidation circle Binka Dunguripali comprise of 289 villages spread over of 75327 Hects. 3. Working Hours of the Office:
10 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in every working day except in summer where the working hour is from 7.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. without lunch break.
