Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1. Aims & Objectives of the Organization:
Maintenance of Land Record like:
a) Registration of Documents belongs to Land and House movable and immovable property.b) Collection of Stamp duty and Regn. Fees.c) Issue of Copy of Documents, Certified Copy, Encumbrance Certificate, Marriage Certificates.
2. Mission/ Vision:
a) Maintenance of registration and Documents.b) Maintenance of Service matters relating to Employees.c) Maintenance of Marriage record of Special Marriage Act.
3. History & Background of its Establishment:
The Sub-Register Office was establish during the year-1955 sub sequence the same was convert District Registrar Malkangiri after District by fraction. To facilitation Registrant public for registration their Documents belongs to Land & other things and to collect Stamp duty and Registration Fees.
4. Duties Performed:
The District Sub-Registrar who is Registing Officer accept the documents directly for Registration. The Sub-Registrar Office has been 2 Class 3 Staffs work of the Class 3 Staff are under the direct supervision of a Sub-Registrar and he can also sanctions, Personal claim like Increment, Advancement of IV Grade Employees, Sanction of Leave, Service Regularization, GPF, TA, RCM, Festival Advance, GIS, CCR etc.
5. Main Objective/ Functions:
The main objective is to Registration Documents/ Collect Land Revenue for the State.
6. Details of Service Rendered:
Through a chain system the administration reaches to the citizen & takes every necessary step Registration of the Documents belongs to land.

7. Arrangements for Citizens Interaction/ Public Participation:
The Registrant public will meet the Registering Officer directly & work will be done.
8. Grievance Redress Mechanism:
Top priority is being given to attend disposal of Grievance of Public as well as staff. The Grievance day has been fixed as every Tuesday from 10 A.M to 1.30 P.M during day office and 10 A.M to 12 Noon during morning office (excluding 2nd Saturday & Public Holidays)
