Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1) Brief History of the Public Authority & Context of its Formation: The Consolidation Circle Office, Boudh started functioning w.e.f. 14.11.1998 in pursuance of Govt. in Revenue Department letter No.66178/R dt.14.10.1998 covering 97 villages of Boudh Tahasil with a total operational area of 17,528 Hectares which were notified u/s 3 (1) of Odisha Consolidation of Holdings and prevention of Fragmentation of Land Act, 1972 vide Revenue Dept. Notification No. 75806/R dt.15.12.1987. Subsequently, 102 villages of Boudh Tahasil/ P.S. have been notified u/s 3 (1) of the Act vide Govt. in Revenue Dept. Notification No. 53059/R dt.2.12.1991. Consequent upon reorganization of circles and camps 47 villages of Baunsuni P.S. under Boudh Tahasil and 8 villages of Boudh tahsil/ P.S. were tagged to Binika- Dungripali Circle. Finally Boudh Circle has been confined to 144 villages of Boudh P.S. covering a total area of 25024 Hectares. Subsequently 10 villages of Boudh P.S. with an area of 2629 Hectares were denotified u/s 5-(1) of the O.C.H. and P.F.L. Act, 1972. Out of the rest villages, 118 villages of Boudh P.S. with an area of 18,260 Hectares and 8 villages with an area of 1714 Hectares were finally published u/s 22-(2) and 13 (4) of the Act respectively, leaving a balance of 8 ongoing villages with an area of 2421 Hectares. In course of time, all the camps functioning in this circle have been closed except consolidation camp Radhanagar and Tutursingha where all the villages of erstwhile defunct camps have been tagged. 2) Postal Address of the Circle Office: i. Consolidation Camp, Radhanagar,At/Po.-Birnarsinghapur,Dist.-Boudh 3) Working Hours of the Office: 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in every working day except in Summer where the working hour is from 7.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. without lunch break. & the working hours of the Consolidation Camps is 8.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in all sections. 4) Grievance Redress Mechanism: Grievances of the Public and the Staff are heard on every Wednesday of the week from 2.00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. for redressal.

4) Grievance Redress Mechanism:
Grievances of the Public and the Staff are heard on every Wednesday of the week from 2.00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. for redressal.
