Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1. History & Background of Its Establishment:

The Presentation pertains to the office of the consolidation officer, Marshgah functioning at Madhapur, Kendrapara and is meant to exibit it per appraisal of the general public.
The Consolidation Circle office started functioning w.e.f. 1.1.85 as per Govt. in Revenue Dept No.36193/CH(Legis) - 12/85 dated 6.7.1988. comprising of 66 villages with an area of 10,955 Hectors to provide consolidation of holdings as per the provisions laid down in the OCH .& PFL Act 1972 allocated to 8 nos. of consoldatio0n camps viz. Aagulee, Alailo, Thansi, Mansojhai, Damuka, Banlakani, Mahakalpada & Baradanga.
Subsequently 20 village of Mahakalpada Police Station. have been denotified 5(1) of the Act in Go No- 22283, dt.: 15.4.88 and the 3 camps viz : Mahakalpada, Banlakani and Baradanga wex closed down. Thereafter, 62 villages of Patkura Police Station and 2 village of Mahakalpada Police Station wex brought under consolidation in this circle raising the numbers of villages to 108 with op sing of near camps viz: Bangal, Bhagabanyanr, Kailapatrs, Dikanyour, Badabetra and Srnadhys. On reorganization of Camps. The Village of district Camps viz Dumuka, Manaphar, Alailo, Bhagabaryrur and Bangallrur wex merged with adjoining camps. Subsequent 1 village of Kendrapara Police vis: Kentagarh from co Circle, Kendrapara on reorganization was annexed to this Circle. Further two villages it viz : Nagripada and Arilo wex bifurcated and sanadhya respecting from Rev. Village. Satikanta on formulation of Bcp raising the number of Village to 111 with an overall area of 14976 Hee mar allotted to 6 Camps Viz : Angular, Thanri, Karilopaths, Dikaryrur, Sanadhhy and Badabetra.
In the meanwhile, 87 Village with an area of Hc.10760 have been finally published 22(2) of the Act and village with an area of Hc 1394 have been published of 13(4) of the Act.
Two villages viz: Madhazasan and Mohanmudpur have been dignified5(i) of the Act. The Present workload of the circle thus comes to 16 villages with an area of 2567 Hets.
