Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1. History & Background of its Establishment:

Admission of various types of documents for registration as per the Indian Registration Act. 1908 and Indian Stamp Act. 1899 with amendment from time to time.

2. Function & Duties:

i.
Collection of Stamp-Duty and Registration fees including fines due on such documents and remit the same to the Govt. exchequer.
ii. Preservation of valuable land records of public & service to the registrant public. 
   
   This is the main function and duties of District Sub Rregistrar office, Nayagarh.
