1. History & Background of Its Establishment:

From the inception of Khurda District since 01.04.1993, this office is functioning in the building of Collectorate, Khurda. Sri Kiran Chandra Jena, District Planning Officer is the Head of this Office.

This office basically deals with MPLAD Scheme (Lok Sabha), MPLAD Scheme (Rajya Sabha), MLALAD Scheme, Special Problem Funds, District Planning Committee, Formulation of Annual and Five Year Plans for Khordha District and Assembly Constituency Development Committee.
