1) History/ Background/ Objective/ purpose of the public authority:
The District Planning Office, Dhenkanal is being functioning in its own building with effect from 01.08.1984 as per the Notification No. 11494/P dt.25.07.1984 of Planning & Co-ordination Department, Govt. of Odisha. The office is located near Dhenkanal Municipal office.
2) Mission/ Vision:i) The main objective of the office is to prepare the Annual Plan/ Five Year Plan & perspective plan for the district in active cooperation of the district level Officers.ii) Miss Neeta Mohanty, District Planning Officer is in charge of this office with effect from 28.06.05.
