Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1. Aims and Objectives of the organization: For implementation of the OGP act and rules at a lower stage of the Panchayati Raj i.e G.P and to have a enforcement of these rules, the organizations has set up. Moreover to get the required information from the G. P.s on the matter of works entrusted with the G.P. for off-upliftment of the rural people and submission of related information to the government is the main aim and objective of the organizations. 2. Mission / Vision: To elevate the poor people to the higher status of economic through different antipoverty scheme as well to give equal scope of the SC/ST in social life and to give free hand. 3. Brief History and Background for Its Establishment : On enactment of Odisha G.P. Act 1948 and subsequent charges on implementation of the provision of the Act, this establishment has come to its present existence. During January 1961, Panchayati Raj was introduced all over the state and under this system the 3-Tier of Panchayati Raj have been established with close collaboration of each other. 4.
