1. Brief History of the Public Authority:
The main function of R.T.O. is Registration of Vehicle to give permits to good/ Contract carriages, Stage carriages (Buses) both T.P. & P.P. To give D/L of M.C., L.M.V H.G.V and Badge No. and also to give conductor license, check of the vehicle by T.I., I.M.V., and Jr. I.M.V. As and when re3quired to hold a mobile checking of the vehicle off road or vehicle, Disbursement of pay/ D.A./T.A. Provisional pension and other allowances of the staff both gazetted and non- gazetted officers.
a) To reach money towards taxes and fees of the vehicles.b) Deposited the Revenue Money into the Treasury as well as disbursement of contingent bolls in different heads. c) To pay the Electric/ Telephone bills to the concerned Department in tome fitness of Vehicle by I.M.V.
