Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1) Aims & Objectives of the Organization:

     The main Aims & objectives of the Organization is to promote industrial & Service activities of MSME & its monitoring work in this district apart from this maintenance of existing industrial units are being taken up it also monitor & promote the Handicraft & Artsians Sector in this dist.

2) Brief History of Background for its Establishment:

     District Industries Centre, Boudh has come in to existence from 01.01.2000 and since then it is engaged implementation of Policy and Programme of Government by way of establishing SSI, Handicraft and Cottage Industries, P.M.E.G.P. Schemes for establishing the Unit under service and Industries sector for providing Employment opportunity through DIC/ KVIB.

MSME (SSI) Sector:

i. EM-I Registration (Provisional Registration):

     The EM-I Registration is being consider provisionally before starting of the MSME (SSI) Unit & to avail different facility to establish the Unit.

ii. EM-II Registration (Permanent Registration):

     Any MSME (SSI) Unit after starting the Service or Production EM-II Redgn. Is to be consider after submission of required documents.

iii. Dist. Single Window Clearance Authority (DSWCA) System:

     Under the Scheme the Works related to Industries/ Service will be implemented through Dist. Industries Centre (D.I.C.) like that the Power Supply/ Poulation/ Collector Permission/ Redgn. of Factory & Boiler/ Storage License/ Sitting Criteria/ Food License etc. In that eventually over & above 10 Lakhs of Plant & Machinery for Service Sector & 25 Lakhs for Manufacturing Unit. The Entrepreneurs is to deposited an amount of Rs.1000/- towards fees for processing of Application with General Manager, D.I.C. in shape of Bank draft.

iv. Slipa Adalat:

     As per the Stipulation of the Scheme, the entrepreneurs are allowed to put forth their grievances and the problems face, if any to establish of MSME (SSI) Unit from Bank Finance to any License etc. and they may be attended in person for complain in "Slipa Adalat" in the O/o General Manager, Dist. Industries Centre, (DIC) Boudh.

v. Rice Milling Cluster under Cluster Development Programme:

     Under MSME, We have a Rice Milling Cluster under Dist. Industries Centre (DIC) and all the Rice Mill Unit are member of the Cluster for the development of the Rice Mill Unit under the Umbrella of the Cluster various Programmes for Training exposure visit., Business development taking advice of exports for various functions and even to set up a common facility Centre such as design centre, Testing Facilities Training Centre, R&D Centre Common, Raw materials Bank/ Sales deport for the benefits of all the Units of the Cluster.

vi. MSME (SSI) Loan Proposal:

     The MSME (SSI) Loan Proposals are being recommended to the Banks for Sanction of Loan under Industries & Service Sector, which may please be accelerated through our Dist. Industries Centre (DIC).
