Functions & Duties:
To promote Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises in the district and to revive Sick Indl.units, to implement single window system, various self employment scheme i.e. PMEGP,RHA,RCA etc. and provided training on Handicraft & Coir Sector (New Scheme to be implemented from 2008-09). To promote Handicraft Scheme programmes in the District etc. under Craft Village,Training Through MCM under handicraft sector, Employment Mission supper service to Indl.units and provide incentives to MSME and others as per I&PR of Govt.
