1. Aims and objectives of the organization:
To provide safe drinking water to 100% population of urban local bodies.
2. Mission/ Vision:
To provide safe drinking water to a population up to 2041.
3. Brief History and Background for its Establishment:
The P.H. Division, Berhampur Started functioning from July1954 is looking after water supply to various ULBs under jurisdiction of this Division.
4. Allocation of Business:
Provide safe drinking water to Public, Institution & Govt. Buildings and proper sanitation to Govt. Buildings under jurisdiction.
5. Duties to be Performed to Achieve the Mission:
Good work, culture, punctuality, timely performance, avoidance of all corrupt practice & sensitivity to public need are duties to achieve the mission.
6. Details of Service Rendered:
Providing safe drinking water to inhabitants of following ULBs:
a. Berhampur Municipal Corporation.b. Gopalpur NACc. Chikiti NACd. Digapahandi NACe. Paralakhemundi Municipalityf. Kasinagar NAC
7. Citizens Interaction:
Very often citizen interact with this office regarding their problem. Their problem are addressed within due time. Public interaction is made by the field officers for drinking water supply during their supervision to various areas under their jurisdiction.

9. Working Hours both for Office and Public:
On Working Days: 10 AM to 5 PMWith a Lunch Break from 1.30 PM to 2 PM (All days except Govt. holiday).
