1. Aims and Objectives of the Organization:
In a democratic set up it is through the election that, the elector express their choices of the candidate to represent them. For which the Election Commission of India is the apex body, who plays the vital role in the process of free and fare election to provide a transferable from Democracy to the people as per the Rules and Regulation if the representation ODF the people Act, 1951 and Conduct if Election Rules 1961. For the smooth conduct of election at the level of District administration the Collector & the District Election Officer has the overall responsibility and the District Election Machinery under the command and control of the Collector and District Election Officer plays a vital role on ensuring the purity of process and the smooth conduct of election.
2. Duties to be performed to achieved the Mission:
i. Enrollment of names of eligible elector in the photo Electoral Rolls.ii. Issue if Elector's Photo Identity cards (EPIC) to eligible electors.iii. Conduct of general Election to house people & Legislative Assembly in free & fair manner.
