1. The Origin:
The increasing population demanded thrust on sustainable economic development for the survival of human civilization. In order to fulfill the need & meet the challenges of future establishment of an educational institute "Debaray Samarsingh College" was dreamt of by socially conscious persons of village Ganeswarpur, Mohanpur, their sincere efforts & loved towards innovative thought to serve the cause of the society & academic education lead to the birth of this institute on river bank of "Kani", the cultural & ethical Panchayat of "Palimi" under Aul Block of district Kendrapara.
2. The Mission:
The objective of "Debaray Samarsingh College" is derived from its origin to educate & develop confidence with required knowledge & skill to serve the society & meet the future challenges to make the nation progressive & prosperous.
The institute will strive to contribute for all round personality development, to instill a sense of values with right attitude & ethical responsibility, concern for environment.
The institute's Endeavour will be to develop an ideal institution to achieve excellence in the field of education. The institute will make all efforts to develop a culture of healthy interpersonal relation for national integration.
3. About The College:
Debaray Samarsingh College" is located at Ganeswarpur, Mohanpur under Aul Block, Dt- Kendrapara. The place has excellent communication. The institute offering courses like +2 Arts, +2 Science, +2 Commerce & +3 SC, +3 Commerce.
4. Faculty:
The achievement of academic excellence depends on faculty. The faculty of the institute is highly qualified and experienced in their respective field. Many are outstanding lecturers and have distinguished them selves through research & publication activities.
5. Library & Laboratory:
The institute has a good library & laboratory. It has multiple copies of text books & reference books. It subscribed the national & international journals. Some important magazines & newspapers supplied to the students. The audio cassettes & CDS, DVDS & internet connections are there. It has good laboratory for the science students.
