1. Brief History of Public Authority:
The College was established in the Year 1981 as B.R Science College, Madhuvir, Hatashi Kachery in the District of Kendrapara recognised by the Govt. in the Dept. of Higher Education and affilited to CHSE, Odisha and Utkal University, Bhubaneswar .It has been established under Registration of Society Act, and Functioning to achive its goal towards quality assurance in the remote rural areas of wst Kanika region.
2. Aim and Objectives of the Public Authority:
a. To Provide access of qualitative Higher Education to the rural Students .b. Disseminate Knowledge to the students in Arts and Science at Higher Secondary (+2) Level with Science at Degree (+3) Level.c. To Promote Values in the Students.d. To Promote Higher education of rural girls.
3. Strength of Public Authority:
The College has Streams like Arts ,Science at +2 Level and Science at +3 with a Student Strength of 704. The affiliated Optional Subjects in Arts are English , Odia, History ,Pol. Science and Economics ,in Science Physics ,Chemistry , Biology(Botany and Zoology) Mathematics. At +3 Level Pass Subjects the Govt. instructions the Teaching of Yoga and Environmental Education has been introduced of all the students in Order to develop Physical ,mental and Social Character.
4. Duties of Principal:
i. Administration of the College.ii. Management of College Office ,Meetings and Examinations.iii. Supervision of Activities of Students ,Teachers ,Other employees and all the Curricular and Curricular activities in the College .iv. Coordination between College and College governing body (G.B) College and the Govt., College and the Public /Parents andv. Teaching the students.
5. Main Activities /Functions of the Principal:
a. Collection of Educationally Policy documents ,Circulars of Government /University /CHSE , Odisha Courses teaching aids,books, etc. b. Admission of Students, distribution of Powers/ Charges among the staff Conducting.c. Supervision different Circulars and Co-Curricular activities ,Conduct of Seminars ,Workshops , exams.d. Establishing relationship with public, the Govt./ University/ CHSE , Odisha.
6. List of Services being Provided by the Public Authority:
a. Providing qualitative Higher Edn to the students of the area.b. Teaching the students directly. c. Making arrangement for stipend /scholarship for poor and meritorious students of the area.

a. Conduct of Parents -cum -Public Meetingsb. Inviting the Public to the College functions/ important events/ Observation of important days.c. Correspondence through letters (informing parents about the Performance of the students).
10. Mechanism available for Monitoring the Service delivery and Public grievance Cell:
Public Grivence is Settled with the help of College Advisory Board, College Governing body and College Grivance Cell.
