1. Brief History of the Public Authority:
Established in 1997 as Dora Junior college, Putukigrinjel situated in the Bijepur Block in the District of Bargarh for catering to the need of Higher Education and achieving excellence in various walks of life.
2. Aim & Objectives of the Public Authority:
Basically, it aims at educating weaker sections, tribal and female communities who are otherwise neglected by our society for pretty long time.
3. Strength of the Public Authority:
We provide teaching facilities to the student strength of 128 in +2 Arts Stream only. Number of optional subject offered is four including one practical subjects i.e. Education.
4. Main Activities/ Functions of the Public Authority:
The college has been functioning as an Aided ( 40% Block grant Aided College )and managed and Controlled by statutory & non statutory bodies as prescribed by the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Odisha. Basing on its academic reputation, Co-curriculum activities quality of Institutional Management and responsiveness of Administrative structure, this institution is fully committed to its aims and goals and taking good care of students.
