1. Brief History and Background of the Establishment:
To meet the educational need especially higher education; Anchalika Mahavidyalaya Udayapur was established in the year 1987. The sole aim of the institution is to afford Higher Education to the socially, economically downtrodden students. As the Keonjhar district in general and Saharapada block in particular is a tribal dominated area; the institution has a great role to play in the field of Higher Education. The college has obtained permanent concurrence from Government (Dept. of Higher Education) and also obtained permanent affiliation from council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, Bhubaneswar. It came under grant-in-aid fold in the year 1994. It has become a full aided institution in the year 1996. Sometimes it receives financial assistance from the district Collector's periphery fund, local gram panchayat, M.L.A & M.P lad. Right from its birth it is marching ahead and ahead with flying colour year after year.
