1. Brief History and Background of the Establishment :
Dutika Sahu College, Laida has established on 14.07.1979 in the district of Sambalpur to facilitate Higher Education to the need of the students of its periphery. It is imparting education in +2 Science & Arts and +3 Arts stream. The college is functioning in a good location and natural beauty of Laida circle and has well furnished library, laboratory, UGC resource centre and classroom.
The college is permanently recognized by Govt. of Odisha and permanently affiliated to Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha & Sambalpur University.
It has a co-educational degree college with 128 seats in +2 Arts, 64 seats in +2 Science & 96 seat in +3 Arts stream and Hons. Facilities in Odia, Political Science & Education (16 seat each).
The college is a direct payment Non-Govt. aided college.
The college is already completed 33 years. The present students' strength of the college is 510 with 10 teaching and 13 non-teaching staff members.
Let us work hard by which the college will be able to create a milestone in the field of education by catering to the all round development of the society.
