1. Brief History of the Public Authority:
Established in 2003 as Driems Science College, Cuttack situated at Kairapari, Tangi in the District of Cuttack and strives hard for excellence in its way to fulfill its goal and mission since then.
2. Aim & Objectives of the Public Authority:
The aim of the college is to provide quality education in an environment, which fasters positive attitude, global vision and commitment to excellence.
3. Strength of the Public Authority:
Initially the college was granted permission for student strength of 128 in 2003. But keeping in mind the students' demand the total intake has been increased to 192.
4. Main Activities/ Functions of the Public Authority:
The college has been functioning as a self-financing college and managed and controlled by statutary and non-statutary bodies prescribed by the Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of Odisha with massive infrastructure, modern class rooms, well equipped laboratories, specious library and above all, a highly efficient staff; the college is pursuing excellence aiming at the complete personality development of the students. So as to create better men and women of vision and responsibility to surpass all hurdles of life and rebuild the society.
