1. The College Crest:
Our College crest includes a book lying opened with a lamp burning beside it. It spreads the message," Read and let other read". Educate yourself and get others educated. Education is continuous process which helps to prepare an individual to play his role with greater efficacy as an enlightened member of society. It helps emancipating the society from evils of all sorts and backwardness and drives the society to achieve excellence in every sphere. Panchayat college, kalla was established in the year 1987 with a view to promote college education in the remote part of the Deogarh district. It thank to the pioneering efforts of enthusiastic people of kalla and other adjacent villages that, this institution progressed and come out each passing day with desired results serving much to every ones satisfaction. Initially teaching was imparted in +2 Arts stream with 128 seats.
During the year of establishment in the year1987 it started teaching in +2 Arts with 128 seats and +2 Science stream with 64 seats was functioning from the year 1990. The Government after careful consideration the increase of seats in Science stream from 64 to 96 in the year 1991. The present student strength of Arts stream of both the year( 1st year & 2nd year) is 256 and for Science stream is 192.
2. Aim & Objective of the College:
Our institution is aims at disseminating knowledge and ideas of innovation in the young minds for their all- round development. Besides teaching, Seminar, Debate competition and other knowledge based programme are arranged round the year. Sports competitions are organised in every year to explore the sporting talents among the students. Cultural programmes are organised to aware the students of our rich Culture and heritage. Our institution gives stress to educate the students the value of discipline, devotion, determination and dedication.
